I think this works well as a shoe rack or children's clothing shelf. But for an additional clothing shelf at the bottom of your closet, it's a bit short for clothing you want to access all the time (workout clothes, hoodies, etc). I only bought one set (two shelves). Incredibly easy to set up, I just wish they were taller.
